Pietro Romeo

Pietro Romeo was born in Catania in 1979. He graduated in Bologna with a thesis about the aesthetics of amateur photography. He lived in Rome, Berlin, Brno before returning to Bologna, his adopted city. He has collaborated and continues to collaborate with national newspapers (“Il Fatto Quotidiano”, “Il Reportage”), international newspapers (“Vice Deutschland”), photo agencies (Parallelozero International Photo Agency), and webzines (“Yanez Magazine”). In 2019 he was a finalist at the Marco Pesaresi Prize (Savignano Immagini) with the report “Emilia’s last dance”, which tells the world of smooth and dancing in northern Italy.
