Marianna Di Piazza

Udine by birth, and adopted by Milan. Marianna transferred to the shadow of the Madonnina to follow her dream of being a journalist, but left her heart in that little Friuli city. She lives with a suitcase under the bed, always ready for a new adventure. She has produced reports in Europe, North Africa and, naturally, in Italy. However, her dream is one of living and reporting direct from the battle field. She grew up reading the books of Oriana Fallaci and the reports from the greats sent to hot zones around the globe. She hopes to go over there with her video camera and report on the conflicts and the emotions.

Marianna is a perfectionist in every way, even though she would like to live with a bit more lightheartedness. And whenever she needs to unplug, all she needs is a TV series and a good wine, from Friuli of course.
