Levin Opiyo studied Journalism at the London School where he graduated on top with a distinction. With over 60,000 followers and 5000 friends on Facebook, Levin is also a social media influencer.
He currently works as a columnist for the Nation, which is the largest newspaper in East and Central Africa, and also as a marketer for Harvey UK.
In 2018, he contributed to an edited book celebrating the life of, Prof Ngugi Wathiong’o, a world-renowned novelist who has always been regarded as a likely candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
In 2015 he was listed by Radio Jambo, the second biggest radio station in Kenya in terms of listeners, as one of the top 10 Kenyans to be followed on Social Media. In 2017 Africa Warrior Magazine listed him as one of the top 10 influential Kenyans in diaspora.
