Ilaria Buscaglia, from Novara, was born in 1983. She has a PhD in cultural anthropology, and is currently working as a researcher in Rwanda, both in the academic field and for various non-governmental organizations, on gender issues, reproductive health and young people in general.
She is president of the volunteer organization Turi kumwe Onlus, based in Novara.
