Arshad Yusufzai is a Peshawar-based Pakistani freelance journalist who begun his professional career as a fixer/interpreter (September 2001- September 2004) after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the USA. (I went on to finish my education between September 2004- March 2009 and was away from media)
He resumed his journalistic journey in 2009 with Voice of America Pashto radio service and continued working with a number of Pakistani English-language newspapers and magazines, as well as occasionally contributing to international media.
He has also worked with the ICRC, and Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, Switzerland; engaging the Afghan Taliban leaders in humanitarian and peace processes since 2009.
