Andreas Østhagen is a Senior Research Fellow at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. He is also a Global Fellow at the Wilson Center in Washington D.C. From North Norway, Østhagen works on issues of Arctic security and geopolitics. Østhagen holds a PhD in international relations from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics (LSE) in European and international affairs. Østhagen teaches the Oslo New University College and is a Fulbright Scholar in 2022 at both the Wilson Center and Belfer Center at Harvard University.
